Cream of Mushroom Soup
What You’ll Need:
8 Tablespoons of Butter
20-24oz package of your choice of Mushrooms
1 Cup of Flour
4 Cups of Chicken Broth
4 Cups of Heavy Whipping Cream
1.5 Tsp of Garlic Powder
1.5 Tsp of Onion Powder
1.5 Tsp of Salt
1.5 Tsp of Pepper
Instructions:
In a large pot, melt your butter and add in the mushrooms.
Mix it together well over medium heat.
Then add in the rest of the ingredients and whisk together until it thickens.
For canning this recipe, don’t get it too thick as it will thicken in the water bath. Water bath for 3 hours depending on your elevation. This recipe yielded me 7 pint jars.
